### The Latest: Spaniard could extend Wolves stay

According to [*The Athletic*](https://theathletic.com/2593709/2021/05/18/wolves-looking-to-bring-in-players-to-improve-first-xi-traore-contract-talks-also-ongoing/), talks are ‘ongoing’ between the Spaniard and Wolves over a new deal, with his current contract [expiring](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adama-traore/profil/spieler/204103) in the summer of 2023.

That suggests Leeds could miss out the 25-year-old being available in the summer, meaning Bielsa has to look elsewhere for a new wide man.

### The Verdict: Bullet dodged or opportunity missed?
