# Leicester City: Fans praise James Justin after he scores on debut for Foxes

**Leicester City fans were thrilled with debutant James Justin after he returned home to Luton Town to score the second goal in the Foxes’ 4-0 win in the Carabao Cup last night.**

The defender dispatched a half-volley from eight yards out after a pass from Youri Tielemans in the build-up to the goal [(via BBC)](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49723458).

The 21-year-old moved from Championship club Luton to the King Power Stadium in the summer for an undisclosed fee on a five-year deal [(via Reuters)](https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-soccer-england-lei-justin/leicester-sign-defender-justin-from-luton-town-idUKKCN1TT2OD).

The fullback, who can play on [either side](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/james-justin/profil/spieler/413220), made more than 110 appearances for his hometown club as he rose through the leagues with the Hatters [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/james-justin/leistungsdaten/spieler/413220).

Brendan Rodgers’ side followed up from their superb 2-1 victory at home to Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday.

Fans were gushing over the 21-year-old after his performance last night as they took to Twitter to show their appreciation.
