Adam Lallana has been linked to a move to Leicester City ahead of the 2020/21 season, where he could be reunited with his former boss.
According to Football Insider, Brendan Rodgers has been eyeing up his former player and his interest could see Lallana join the Foxes this summer.
The Englishman penned a short-term extension with Liverpool in order to see out this season but he will find himself ready to join a new club once the campaign comes to a close.

Lallana is preparing to see his career at Anfield come to a close after six years of service. He was bought from Southampton in 2014 for a fee of £25 and became Rodgers’ second signing of that summer window (via BBC Sport). Now, he could be looking at a reunion with the man who kick-started his Liverpool success.
The 32-year-old has endured the Reds’ painful rollercoaster over the last few years, which saw them miss out on Champions League glory against Real Madrid in Kiev. However, his devotion to the club has paid off as Lallana will leave the club this summer with a Champions League title, Super Cup and Club World Cup under his belt, as well as an inevitable Premier League medal (via Transfermarkt).
According to Football Insider, Rodgers is confident that the midfielder will agree terms and will join Leicester in the upcoming transfer window.
The Foxes have excelled in the Premier League this season, appearing as a surprise package and going toe-to-toe with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City. As it stands, Leicester will qualify for the Champions League next season and could push on to challenge for another Premier League title win in 2021.
Lallana could be looking at resurrecting a career which has been plagued by ongoing injuries. Rodgers’ desire to sign the England international for a second time shows that the Irishman sees real potential in him.
Leicester’s current midfield boasts names like James Maddison and Youri Tielemans, creative playmakers who could bring out the best in Lallana once more. Additionally, with a clinical striker like Jamie Vardy up front (who is currently in line to win this season’s Golden Boot), the midfielder could be racking up assist after assist and ending his career on a high.
