# Everton: Fans laud Lewis Dobbin’s latest pre-season hat-trick

**Lots of Everton fans have been lauding another impressive display from Lewis Dobbin in pre-season.**

As per the club’s official [website](https://www.evertonfc.com/news/2205576/dobbin-bags-another-hat-trick-in-everton-under-23s-win), the striker scored another hat-trick in a friendly game for the under-23s against non-league Chorley Town, his [third treble](https://twitter.com/Everton/status/1422669899319717891) in pre-season.

The final score was 3-1 to the Toffees as Dobbin’s goals ended up being crucial to victory.

The 18-year-old has been a big success at youth level for Everton throughout his footballing career, scoring 14 goals and supplying a further 11 assists in 39 matches across the last three seasons ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lewis-dobbin/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/627248)).

Considering his fine form, some Blues supporters feel as if he should be given a chance to impress in the first team under Rafa Benitez.
