The goal meant that Rangers B left Broadwood Stadium with a 3-2 win and all three points, with Tony Weston grabbing the other two goals ([rangers.co.uk](https://www.rangers.co.uk/article/match-report-cumbernauld-colts-2-3-rangers-b/21bPeKBTA1MymIvPIzXOEu)).

With [the club confirming](https://www.rangers.co.uk/article/club-statement-11-11/59uIWHbnTGNvF7wRXO1oAI) this morning that Steven Gerrard has left Ibrox to join Aston Villa as their new permanent manager after the departure of Dean Smith, the Rangers B result and performance at least gave the Ibrox faithful something to cheer about, as it looks as if they have a few promising youngsters coming through.
