Le Parisien newspaper insists negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs.
The report quotes Nice shareholder Gilbert Stellardo as saying: “We’re working on our team for next season. Will it be with or without Rémy? Only God knows.”
Club president Maurice Cohen “thought he had vetoed the move” but sources “close to the club” assure the newspaper that “a cheque for €17 million or €18 million” could convince Nice to let the forward leave for OL.
So how much red vino led to this tale unfolding? Could Lyon really be set to re-sign a player they sold just a year ago? Should this rumour Fly or Die?
