# Liverpool eye move for exciting midfielder as Klopp looks to solve injury problems

***The Liverpool fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are desperate to see this happen…***

Liverpool have made an excellent start to the season, and Jurgen Klopp has quickly become a hero to the Anfield faithful.

However, the Liverpool fans in the Tavern are seriously concerned that their season could be about to come crashing down, with a succession of injuries currently marring Klopp’s squad.

The likes of Sturridge and Ings are unavailable, whilst star man Coutinho has also recently been diagnosed with an injury; and he [reportedly](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/2280402/philippe-coutinho-injury-liverpool-ace-still-on-crutches-in-leg-brace-as-reds-ace-prepares-for-scan-results/) looks set to miss up to 6 weeks worth of action.

It would appear that Klopp is seriously concerned about the injuries, and with Coutinho likely unavailable until January – he could look to delve into the transfer market as he looks to bolster out his squad.

[According to the Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3979256/Liverpool-ramp-attempts-sign-Dortmund-wonderkid-Christian-Pulisic.html#ixzz4RLQmpLbe), Liverpool look set to up their interest in Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic – who has been impressing in the Bundesliga this season.

The injury to Coutinho has, seemingly, revealed to Klopp just how reliant he is on the Brazilian attacker – and he likely sees Pulisic as the perfect man to step in should the Brazilian’s injury woes worsen.

Coutinho has been outstanding this season, and has been a key part of Liverpool’s return to prominence in the Premier League – but Pulisic has had a similar level of impact at Dortmund. The American winger has made 9 appearances, including substitute roles, and has scored twice and assisted four times.

It must be noted that Pulisic is just 18-years-old, and so that makes his influence particularly impressive.

Our landlord thinks that Klopp could be the man to get the best out of the American…
