# Liverpool: Fans beg club to sign Erling Haaland

**Lots of Liverpool fans were vocal about reports that the Reds were interested in signing Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.**

The 20-year-old has been a revelation ever since he hit the continental scene last season with RB Salzburg, after his [hat-trick](https://www.fotmob.com/news/ofhhblko127q1s36kw8xjk4u7-salzburg-6-2-genk%3A-haaland-scores-stunning-first-half-hat-trick) against Genk and his [goal at Anfield](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49874345) saw the Bundesliga giants sign him for £17m (via [BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50940894)).

Haaland has a phenomenal record for Dortmund, scoring a sensational 33 goals and providing six assists from 32 appearances in all competitions ([TransferMarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/erling-haaland/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/418560)).

According to [Eurosport](https://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/transfers/2020-2021/which-will-make-erling-haaland-a-100m-superstar_sto8007791/story.shtml), sources at Anfield believe that the Norway international will be the next huge signing through the door.

Unsurprisingly, this attracted a wave of positive responses from the Kop faithful, who would be more than happy to see the [£90m-rated](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/erling-haaland/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/418560) striker comes through the door.
