# Liverpool: Fans believe that Marko Grujic should be given a chance next season

**Lots of Liverpool fans believe that midfielder Marko Grujic should be allowed to showcase his talent next season on Merseyside.**

After signing for the club for [£5.1m](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35244115) in 2016, the Serbia international said that it was his dream to play for the Reds next season as his second season on loan at the Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin draws to a close, as per [talkSPORT](https://talksport.com/football/638942/marko-grujic-liverpool-hertha-berlin/). The 23-year-old has featured just [14](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marko-grujic/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/222813) times for the Reds in four years and has also had a loan spell at Cardiff City during this time.

Adam Lallana looks set to leave the club this summer as his [contract expires](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/adam-lallana/profil/spieler/43530) at the end of the season, with Leicester City [reported (per Sky Sports)](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11937726/leicester-make-approach-for-liverpools-adam-lallana) to be interested in his services. Indeed, this could leave a gap to be filled to bolster Jurgen Klopp’s midfield options, and the Kop faithful believe that Grujic is the man for the job. One fan said that he would be a good replacement for the Englishman, while another said that Grujic needs to be given a chance at Anfield.
