# Liverpool: Fans call for Divock Origi to be sold amid Premier League interest

**A number of Liverpool fans have been calling for Divock Origi to leave the club after three Premier League teams were linked with a move for him.**

The Reds got off to a winning start in the top flight on Saturday evening, with Jurgen Klopp’s men securing a 3-0 victory away to Norwich City. However, Origi [played no part](https://www.skysports.com/football/norwich-city-vs-liverpool/teams/446295) in proceedings, with the Belgian becoming increasingly surplus to requirements at Liverpool.

Last season he started just [two top-flight matches](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/124688/History/Divock-Origi) and netted only [once](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/divock-origi/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/148368) in all competitions, the goal coming in a [7-2 Carabao Cup romp](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/divock-origi/alletore/spieler/148368) against Lincoln.

The 26-year-old will always be appreciated for some of the huge goals he has scored for the Reds, most notably the [clincher against Tottenham](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/jun/01/tottenham-liverpool-champions-league-final-match-report) in the 2019 Champions League final, but his time at Anfield could soon be up.
