# Liverpool: Fans congratulate Curtis Jones after making his Premier League debut

**Liverpool fans have been giving credit to Melwood graduate Curtis Jones after making his Premier League debut during his side’s [3-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50611308) win against Bournemouth on Saturday.**

The 18-year-old got his first taste of top-flight football in England as Jurgen Klopp continued to rotate his squad due to their congested fixture schedule in December.

Jones [replaced](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50611308) Andy Robertson with 14 minutes left on the clock and fans caught a glimpse of what the local lad could do for the Reds.

The Englishman is typically a central midfielder and possesses the versatility to be able to play on both wings and even in the number ten role.
