# Liverpool: Fans criticise Adrian Durham following comments on Thiago Alcantara

**Many Liverpool fans were left furious after radio host Adrian Durham commented on Thiago Alcantara’s time at Anfield.**

Since his [£20m](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54188430) move from Bayern Munich in the summer, the 29-year-old has only made [three](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/74939/Show/Thiago) Premier League starts due to contracting coronavirus and then picking up a knee injury against Everton earlier in the campaign.

Speaking on his talkSPORT show (via [@Watch\_LFC](https://twitter.com/Watch_LFC/status/1351241628976078854?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1351241628976078854%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.anfieldwatch.co.uk%2Fvideo-adrian-durham-believes-thiago-is-not-having-an-impact-on-liverpools-results%2F)), Durham believes that Thiago is having minimal impact on Jurgen Klopp’s side this season.

This is despite the fact that Thiago has averaged a match rating of [7.18](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/26/Show/England-Liverpool), one of the [highest](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/26/Show/England-Liverpool) at the club and has averaged 1.2 key passes which is also one of the best at the club so far ([Whoscored](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/26/Show/England-Liverpool)).
