# Liverpool: Fans delighted to see Thiago return for pre-season

**Liverpool supporters are delighted to see Thiago back in pre-season training, with the Spaniard returning to action this week after his summer holiday.**

The 30-year-old enjoyed an up-and-down first season at Anfield, having arrived from Bayern Munich last summer.

Early injury problems saw Thiago unable to find any kind of rhythm and he missed a sizeable chunk of the campaign following an awful tackle in the Merseyside derby by Richarlison.
