# Liverpool: Fans do not want Kylian Mbappe to join the club

**Liverpool supporters have [said](https://twitter.com/anfieldwatch/status/1192518522863280128?s=12) that they would rather not see Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe come to Anfield.**

The 20-year-old has been [linked](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1201282/Liverpool-transfer-news-Kylian-Mbappe-Mohamed-Salah-Real-Madrid-PSG-Jurgen-Klopp-Zidane) with a move to Anfield as reports from [El Desmarque](https://eldesmarque.com/madrid/real-madrid/noticias/175140-ultima-hora-mbappe-y-lo-cambia-todo-florentino-perez-tiene-un-problema-ed) suggest that Real Madrid will step up their bid to take the World Cup winner to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Mbappe is one of the world’s [best](https://www.espn.co.uk/football/english-premier-league/23/blog/post/3852486/kylian-mbappe-christian-pulisic-and-frenkie-de-jong-lead-soccers-30-best-players-under-21) footballers, encapsulated by his [goalscoring](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kylian-mbappe/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/342229) achievements, and he has been nominated for the prestigious [Ballon d’Or](https://en.as.com/en/2019/09/28/football/1569668517_277567.html) award.

He moved to Paris Saint-Germain from Monaco for [€180m](https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/3388743/psg-trigger-kylian-mbappes-permanent-transfer-from-monaco) (£155.1m) in 2018 after a loan spell in the French capital the season before and has scored [69](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kylian-mbappe/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/342229) goals in 98 appearances.

Despite his achievements, supporters don’t believe that Mbappe will come to Liverpool. One fan said that his move would risk ‘destabilisation’ at the club, while another said that he would rather use the funds to buy reinforcements in defence and midfield.

Here are some of the best responses from Liverpool fans:

> I ask do we really need him ❓❓

> I’ve never been on the Mbappe2020 train because for me it’s not realistic he’s going to Madrid Sancho is far more getable we should be focusing on him and not wasting time on a player I believe we have zero chance of getting
