# Liverpool: Fans drool over possible ‘perfect buy’

**Many Liverpool fans were overjoyed about the possibility of the Reds signing Leeds United midfielder Raphinha.**

According to France Football (via [GFFN](https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2021/liverpool-very-interested-in-raphinha-leeds-united/)), Anfield scouts have been in awe of the 24-year-old and will recommend him to the club’s recruitment team as a summer target.

Raphinha only arrived at Leeds from the Ligue 1 club Stade Rennais last summer in a [£16.7m](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/raphinha/transfers/spieler/411295/transfer_id/3089765) move, and has scored six goals and provided six assists in 25 appearances ([TransferMarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/raphinha/leistungsdaten/spieler/411295)).

With the exception of Mohamed Salah, Liverpool have [struggled](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/26/Show/England-Liverpool) for goals this season and the creativity has [not been on the same level](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/29327/12179558/jamie-carragher-on-liverpools-creativity-problems-away-from-home) as it has been over the past two campaigns, something that the Brazilian could help address if he was signed.
