# Liverpool: Fans excited after Kylian Mbappe update

**Some Liverpool supporters are excited after a report claimed Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe is wanted by one English club.**

The Reds have gone under the radar in the summer transfer window, doing very little business while many of their rivals spend big.

Liverpool’s only arrival is Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig, although they have continually been [linked](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/liverpool-fc-transfer-rumours/liverpool-reds-boosted-in-bid-to-sign-kylian-mbappe-this-summer/) with an audacious move for Mbappe.

The 22-year-old is one of the most exciting players in world football at the moment, [scoring 133 goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kylian-mbappe/alletore/spieler/342229) in just 174 appearances for PSG.

Mbappe’s current deal at the Ligue 1 club [expires](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kylian-mbappe/profil/spieler/342229) next summer, however, so he could move on imminently, ensuring they receive a huge fee for him.
