# Liverpool: Fans go wild over footage of Alisson in pre-season training

**A number of Liverpool fans have been purring over footage of [Alisson](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/liverpool-fc-news/liverpool-fans-love-alisson-becker-highlight-reel/) during the Reds’ pre-season training camp in Austria.**

Twitter channel [@AnfieldWatch](https://twitter.com/AnfieldWatch/status/1296180567856361477) shared footage, which is attributed to [LFCTV](https://video.liverpoolfc.com/), of the Brazilian goalkeeper making a string of reactionary saves on the training ground, repeatedly darting across his goal to keep out a succession of shots being fired at the far post from his starting point.

In two seasons at Anfield, the 27-year-old has firmly established himself as the [Reds’ first-choice ‘keeper](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alisson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/105470), winning the [Premier League Golden Glove](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/alisson-takes-golden-glove-prize-with-last-day-clean-sheet/2m05pdsf9l9h1pu7m87a5nxzm) in his first campaign in England with [21 top-flight clean sheets](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alisson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/105470/plus/0/saison/2018/wettbewerb/GB1/verein/31) in 2018/19.

Indeed, Alisson has kept clean sheets in 50% of his Liverpool appearances to date ([44 in 88 games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alisson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/105470/verein/31)) and conceded only [63 goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alisson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/105470/verein/31) (0.72 per game), with the Reds’ past two Champions League campaigns demonstrating his importance to the team.

His [stoppage time save](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46511873) in a 1-0 group stage win over Napoli in December 2018 kept Jurgen Klopp’s side in the competition as they eventually went on to [win a sixth European Cup](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48368443) later that season. Sadly, in his [injury-enforced absence](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/389581-lfc-fitness-latest-klopp-on-alisson-henderson-keita-and-shaqiri) earlier this year, a [fateful error from Adrian](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/51800660) sparked a comeback from Atletico Madrid which saw the Reds dethroned as champions of Europe.
