[Heavily-linked summer target](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/liverpool-fc-transfer-rumours/liverpool-fans-excited-as-club-make-agreement-thiago-alcantara-transfer/) Thiago Alcantara also gave a strong performance for the Germans.

The midfielder earned himself a [FotMob Man of the Match rating of 8.0](https://www.fotmob.com/livescores/3363670/matchfacts/paris-saint-germain-vs-bayern-m%C3%BCnchen?date=20200823) after completing the most passes (75) and creating the most chances (2) in the match.
