# Liverpool: Some fans are frustrated by Mohamed Salah’s form in front of goal

**Liverpool missed a chance to go ahead against Wolves in the opening five minutes after Trent Alexander-Arnold powered the ball across goal but Mohamed Salah managed to put it over the bar. Some Liverpool fans who heard about the miss weren’t very sympathetic and it seems a few are losing confidence in his abilities.**

The Egyptian had played in [15 of Liverpool’s 18 Premier League games](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/108226/Show/Mohamed-Salah) before Sunday, [scoring nine](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/108226/Show/Mohamed-Salah) goals, but it’s been [Sadio Mane who has received more plaudits](https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/sadio-mane-liverpool-everton-result-who-won-marco-silva-1332863) by scoring the same number of goals. Salah has been rated 7.31/10 on [WhoScored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/108226/Show/Mohamed-Salah) for his contributions in the league so far this season, but his 32 goals from the 2017/18 season seem to have fans’ expectations sky high.

When the club tweeted about his miss on their official Twitter account, some supporters weren’t pleased with the 27-year-old’s form in front of goal. They replied to show how disappointed they are.

> 4′ Brilliant attacking football from the Reds. Lallana sets up [@trentaa98](https://twitter.com/trentaa98?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) who drills the ball across the goal. [@MoSalah](https://twitter.com/MoSalah?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) connects but the shot is over the bar.
