# Liverpool: Fans frustrated with Mohamed Salah update

**A number of Liverpool supporters have been left hugely frustrated with an update regarding Mohamed Salah’s potential new deal at Anfield.**

The Egyptian has been a sensational player for the Reds, standing out as arguably the star man of the Jurgen Klopp era.

Salah has scored an incredible [133 goals in 211 appearances](https://www.lfchistory.net/Players/Player/Profile/1317) for Liverpool, carrying the attack at times, particularly last season and in the opening weeks of 2021/22.

Numerous Reds heroes signed new contracts in the summer, but the 29-year-old is yet to extend his stay, leading to concern from some.
