# Liverpool: Fans fume at Roberto Firmino update

**Some Liverpool fans have been left to fume at some early team news that has emerged ahead of their trip to Wolves in the Premier League on Monday night.**

As per a [tweet](https://twitter.com/carlmarkham/status/1370341176897900548) from the PA journalist and Reds reporter Carl Markham, Roberto Firmino has a chance of being fit for the Anfield faithful against Nuno Espirito Santo’s men, with his fitness still being monitored ahead of the game.

The former Hoffenheim ace has not been enjoying the best of seasons in front of goal for Jurgen Klopp’s team, scoring a mere six times in 27 matches in total in the top flight so far in the 2020/21 term ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/roberto-firmino/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/131789/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=GB1&pos=&trainer_id=)).

Coupled up with the Merseyside club’s struggles in the division lately, especially at home, this return is simply not good enough for a striker regardless of what else he does for the side, and so it is no surprise to see the fume when some Reds heard that he has a chance of playing.
