# Liverpool: Fans gush over brilliant set-piece statistic

**Liverpool currently sit at the top of the Premier League table with 40 points and you would have to say that is down to a range of factors.**

For example, a deadly attack of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino has helped the Reds ascend to the summit, with their Senegalese forward already netting eight goals this term.

But as well as that, Liverpool have also been lethal from set-pieces. As shared by the club’s [official Twitter account](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1201178392370040833?s=20), Jurgen Klopp’s men have now scored 40 goals from dead-ball situations since the start of last season, which is more than what any other team has managed.

Indeed, Liverpool just seem like a threat in every possible way. If Salah is not hurting your team, then it is Virgil van Dijk with a bullet header following a Trent Alexander-Arnold corner, with the Dutchman grabbing a brace over the weekend.

Fans are loving it, just look below…
