# Liverpool: Fans gush over signing Adama Traore at discounted price

**Many Liverpool fans were delighted over resurfaced rumours regarding a possible swoop for Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traore.**

The 24-year-old has been [linked](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8643111/Wolves-willing-consider-high-offers-Adama-Traore-earning-praise-Klopp-Guardiola.html) with a move to Anfield over a year now after taking Jurgen Klopp’s breath away last season, where he described the Spaniard as “unplayable” (cited by [FourFourTwo](https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/jurgen-klopp-always-felt-adama-traore-would-flourish-right-club)).

After allegedly being put off by his [€70m (£61.9m) asking price](https://www.football365.com/news/jurgen-klopp-adama-traore-liverpool-bid-logical-wolves), [Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/futbol-internacional/adama-traore-premier-premier-league-adama-traore-wolves-wolverhampton-leeds-united-manchester-city-liverpool-fichajes-premier-futbol-internacional-11464980) (via [Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-join-race-e40m-rated-wolves-star-player-worried-form-santo-insisting-stays/)) revealed that this asking price has now been significantly reduced to €40m (£35.4m).

Traore is yet to score in the Premier League this season and Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is allegedly insisting that he is [stays](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-join-race-e40m-rated-wolves-star-player-worried-form-santo-insisting-stays/) at Molineux. However, the attacker is reportedly worried that his recent form [may seen him dropped](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-join-race-e40m-rated-wolves-star-player-worried-form-santo-insisting-stays/) for Spain in time for Euro 2020 next summer.

**“If it’s Klopp pursuing him then I’d be interested to see it pan out. £35m still seems expensive especially considering the poor season he’s having, but we have seen what happens when we let a Wolves forward off Nuno’s defensive leash.”**
