# Liverpool: Fans hail Jordan Henderson after ‘incredible’ stat revealed

**Lots of Liverpool fans heaped praise on captain Jordan Henderson after a statistic was revealed which put his passing ability in the limelight.**

The 30-year-old has been instrumental for Jurgen Klopp’s side since becoming captain in [2015](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/188441-henderson-appointed-liverpool-captain) and has gone to win the Champions League and the Premier League wearing the armband, the first Reds’ skipper to do so in [30](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53183857) years.

His influence in the midfield was further illustrated by [Whoscored](https://twitter.com/clarkson46/status/1327141204920848384), who revealed that Henderson has not been dispossessed once in the Premier League this season, which equates to 472 minutes of open play without surrendering the ball.

The [same source](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/68659/Show/Jordan-Henderson) has also recorded that the England international has averaged 71 passes per game, with 3.2 long balls and a pass success rate of 86.7% in the Premier League this season.

Unsurprisingly, supporters showered their skipper with praise, whose importance to Klopp’s team was rightly highlighted.

### Fans gush over Henderson

> People who denounce him for ‘not taking risks’ really dont watch ball. He was Liverpool’s 3rd best long passer showing he not only passed long regularly, but has the ability to execute them! A world class recycler!
