# Liverpool: Fans heap praise on Mohamed Salah after Crystal Palace rout

**Many Liverpool fans were full of praise for forward Mohamed Salah after his side’s phenomenal [7-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55268080) drubbing of Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.**

The 28-year-old was forced to start the game on the bench as manager Jurgen Klopp continued to implement his rotation policy – on the back of his team’s horrific injury crisis.

Salah netted a brace inside the final 10 minutes after replacing Sadio Mane, to go along with a double from Roberto Firmino, and goals from Takumi Minamino, Mane and Jordan Henderson, rounding off a successful afternoon in South London.

Per [Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/crystal-palace-liverpool/hsU), Salah accumulated a pass success rate of 100%, had two shots on target which ended in goals and only gave away possession once in 33 minutes.

Unsurprisingly, supporters flocked to social media to hail Salah, with some saying that Liverpool have a Premier League legend on their books.

### Salah strikes again

> Salah should be treated like The best PL player that he truly is! Top goal scorer for the 4th season in a row yet clearly underappreciated. Liverpool is a great club and no player is bigger than the club but this treatment is UNFAIR! We have a legend in our club. > Man ripping up record books for [#LFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/LFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) like it’s nothing. We are seeing a legend being built before our eyes. Relish what we have & what Salah is doing in a red shirt. He is world class in a world class side. > Doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Blasted his way to top scorer off the bench with two great goals. One of the PL greats.
