# Liverpool: Fans in awe as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scores ‘rocket’ for England

**Liverpool fans have heaped [praise](https://twitter.com/lfc/status/1195069411771727878?s=12) on midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after scoring for England to help secure their place at Euro 2020.**

The former Arsenal middle man was one of five different goalscorers as the Three Lions eased to a [7-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50327100) victory against Montenegro. A hat-trick from Harry Kane, along with goals from Marcus Rashford, Tammy Abraham and an own goal from Aleksandar Sofranac made up the scoring tally for the evening.

Oxlade-Chamberlain continues to impress after a long layoff with a serious knee injury that he picked up during the Champions League semi-final against Roma in 2018.
