# Liverpool fans keen to have Lallana available for Saturday clash

**This weekend sees club football return after a long two weeks of internationals. Liverpool fans everywhere have been waiting for their club to be back in action and now it’s right around the corner, some fans aren’t quite ready as Jurgen Klopp faces selection issues with a number of players injured. The lack of options could, though, provide an opportunity for Adam Lallana.**

Lallana is a superb player on his day. The experienced number ten is quality with both of his feet, has an eye for goal and knows how to spot a run. Although he could be deployed a bit further forward if he is picked to start against Huddersfield, the midfielder is comfortable in a whole host of positions and Klopp will be keen to see his midfielder make up for lost time after missing out on the majority of last season with multiple injury problems.

Mo Salah and Sadio Mane could both miss out on the clash, with the pair suffering injuries whilst on international duty. If the game was a crucial one, Klopp could probably rush his stars back but with it being a Premier League tie against Huddersfield you can imagine that the eccentric German will be keen to ensure his star players are 100% ready before risking them, especially with tough games against Arsenal and Red Star Belgrade on the horizon.

You can see what The Reds make of Lallana here:

The fans are more than ready to see Lallana feature against Huddersfield and will hope he can have an impact to give Klopp some selection headaches.
