# Liverpool: Fans livid after Mohamed Salah misses out on award

**A number of Liverpool fans have been left stunned after Mohamed Salah lost out on the Premier League Player of the Month award to Cristiano Ronaldo.**

Salah has enjoyed an incredible start to the season for the Reds, standing out as arguably the best player in the world on current form, producing a stunning performance at home to Manchester City last weekend.

The 29-year-old has chipped in with [six goals and three assists in the Premier League](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/108226/Show/Mohamed-Salah), not to mention a further three goals in the Champions League.

Despite Salah’s brilliance, he has somehow missed out on the Player of the Month award for September, which is a fan-voted prize.
