# Liverpool: Fans praise Jordan Henderson during Atalanta victory

**Plenty of Liverpool fans heaped praise on captain Jordan Henderson after his side’s [5-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54784125) victory against Atalanta in the Champions League.**

A hat-trick from Diogo Jota, along with goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, secured all three points and ensured they remained top of their group, unbeaten and without conceding a goal (via [BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54784125)).

But Henderson was picked out for special recognition by segments of the Kop faithful, as he started in midfield for Jurgen Klopp’s side alongside Gini Wijnaldum and Curtis Jones.

Per [Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/liverpool-atalanta/UsLdb), Henderson made three key passes, two interceptions, only lost possession five times, accumulating a pass success rate of 93%.

Unsurprisingly, supporters were full of praise for Henderson and made their feelings clear on social media.
