# Liverpool: Fans praise the impact and consistency of Roberto Firmino

**Liverpool fans have heaped praise on Brazilian star Roberto Firmino after his recent impact and crucial goals throughout the current campaign.**

His contribution against Crystal Palace ensured that the Reds took all three away from Selhurst Park on Saturday as Jurgen Klopp’s side won [2-1](https://www.skysports.com/football/c-palace-vs-liverpool/408105).

Sadio Mane scored the opening goal before the hosts levelled eight minutes from time through Wilfried Zaha, who looked to have secured a point for the Eagles. However, a loose ball in the box fell kindly to the Brazil international to win the game for Liverpool.

It was Firmino’s [fourth](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/roberto-firmino/profil/spieler/131789) goal of the season in 13 appearances as the Reds maintained their eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League. He has managed to maintain his form from last season where he scored [12](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/roberto-firmino/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/131789) goals in 34 appearances, while his overall flair and talent has drawn plenty of praise from fans and [pundits](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TmkM0zjwV4) alike.

Supporters were delighted with the impact that Firmino has had this season and made their feelings clear on social media.
