# Liverpool: Fans rave about ‘underrated’ star dubbed ‘better than Foden’

**Fans of Liverpool have been reacting to a post on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1335896212952797184), in which the club reflected on Curtis Jones’ Reds career thus far.**

Making his [Liverpool debut](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/curtis-jones/debuets/spieler/433188) in a 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Milton Keynes Dons back in September 2019, Jones has gone on to feature 26 times for Jurgen Klopp’s side, chipping in with [six goals and providing two assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/curtis-jones/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/433188) along the way.

Rather remarkably, Liverpool have [lost only two fixtures](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/curtis-jones/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/433188/plus/0?saison=&verein=31&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=) that the [£4.5 million-rated](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/curtis-jones/marktwertverlauf/spieler/433188) central midfielder has featured in, with the 19-year-old already owning both a [Premier League and a FIFA Club World Cup winner’s medal](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/curtis-jones/erfolge/spieler/433188).

So far this season, Jones has found himself increasingly involved in Klopp’s first-team plans, having already made [13 appearances in all competitions for the Reds](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/curtis-jones/leistungsdaten/spieler/433188).

And, after the club [tweeted](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1335896212952797184) their appreciation of Jones on the anniversary of his Premier League debut, fans of Liverpool flocked to heap praise on the midfielder, with some stating their belief that the 19-year-old is better than Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden.
