# Liverpool: Fans divided as interest in Fluminense forward Evanilson comes to light

**Liverpool are said to be interested in 20-year-old forward Evanilson as a back-up to their current front three.**

The youngster is currently on loan from third tier Brazilian outfit Tombense. His deal with top flight side Fluminense will end in December next year (via [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/evanilson/transfers/spieler/711337)).

It seems he has been operating as a substitute for the Serie A team, making just six league appearances but managing to [score two goals and assist one](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/evanilson/leistungsdaten/spieler/711337) in that time.

The Daily Mail have reported Liverpool’s interest in Evanilson, who is also on the radars of Manchester City and Crystal Palace (relayed via [@LFCTransferRoom](https://twitter.com/LFCTransferRoom/status/1302750022920998912)). However, despite his [Transfermarkt value](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/evanilson/marktwertverlauf/spieler/711337) of a mere £3.6million and his solid goal-to-game ratio, many Liverpool fans aren’t sure they will make the move happen.

Whilst one supporter has lauded Evanilson for being a ‘talented forward’, another fan has said that although he ‘looks class’, the Reds won’t be able to sign him.

Someone else has echoed a similar statement saying they predict Liverpool will ‘always be watching’ but not make any moves.
