# Liverpool: Fans react excitedly to Ferran Torres transfer rumours

**Plenty of Liverpool supporters have been reacting to their side’s transfer [links](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-providing-serious-competition-borussia-dortmund-sign-spaniard/) to Valencia striker Ferran Torres.**

The 19-year-old is one of the most promising young properties in La Liga and is wanted by some of the biggest clubs across Europe.

Despite only scoring [two goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ferran-torres/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/398184) in 24 appearances for Los Ches last season, he has quickly cemented regular first-team football for the Copa del Rey [holders](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/may/25/barcelona-valencia-copa-del-rey-final-match-report).

According to [SportBild](https://sportbild.bild.de/) (via [Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/liverpool-providing-serious-competition-borussia-dortmund-sign-spaniard/)), the teenager is also being monitored by the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona, following a string of eye-catching performances in Spain’s top division.

Valencia could make him available for as little as [£17m](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7633121/Liverpool-join-Borussia-Dortmund-Barcelona-race-sign-Valencia-starlet-Ferran-Torres.html), which could sway Jurgen Klopp into making a move for his services with only [one year](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ferran-torres/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/398184) left on his contract.

These Liverpool fans believe that the youngster would be a good addition to the squad and have been offering their opinions on social media. One fan labelled him as a “Fernando Torres re-gen”.

> Watched him in the under tournament and saw a game past season where Valencia won like 6-0, he is crazy good. Passing is brilliant as well. Should have had more assists but strikers missed
