# Liverpool: Fans react to Andrew Robertson’s remarkable Anfield statistic

**It has now been more than two years since Andrew Robertson [signed for Liverpool from Hull](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/40666486), but he has yet to taste defeat at Anfield in his time at the club.**

Liverpool fan [@Kloppholic](https://twitter.com/Kloppholic/status/1166390918389358592) on Twitter posted the remarkable statistic that the 25-year-old left-back has played [41 home games for the Reds, none of which have ended in defeat](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andrew-robertson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/234803/verein/31).

Since the beginning of the 2017/18 season, Liverpool have lost only twice at Anfield, an [FA Cup defeat to West Brom in January 2018](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/liverpool-fc/spielplandatum/verein/31/plus/0?saison_id=2017&wettbewerb_id=&day=&heim_gast=heim&punkte=&datum_von=-&datum_bis=-) and a [Carabao Cup loss to Chelsea last September](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/liverpool-fc/spielplandatum/verein/31/plus/0?saison_id=2018&wettbewerb_id=&day=&heim_gast=heim&punkte=&datum_von=-&datum_bis=-). Robertson [did not feature in either of those games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/andrew-robertson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/234803/verein/31).

The Reds’ last home defeat in the Premier League was against Crystal Palace in April 2017, while they have not been beaten on home soil in European competition since a 0-3 reverse to Real Madrid in a Champions League group stage match almost five years ago. \[[via TransferMarkt.co.uk](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/liverpool-fc/spielplandatum/verein/31/plus/0?saison_id=&wettbewerb_id=&day=&heim_gast=heim&punkte=0&datum_von=-&datum_bis=-)\]

Robertson has been on the losing side at Anfield once, but that was with former club Hull in their [5-1 defeat to Liverpool](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/37393500) in September 2016.

These Liverpool fans on Twitter hailed the defender’s impact at the club in reacting to his Anfield record:

> The only game Robertson lost was when he was playing for hull. Great stat.

> Watch [#InsideAnfield](https://twitter.com/hashtag/InsideAnfield?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) against Arsenal in YT. He’s like our Vice-Captain in defence, at halftime he warns Adrian to be careful about something. Wants to make sure the stat continues.
