# Liverpool: Fans react to fresh reports of Kylian Mbappe interest

**Liverpool fans have been [reacting](https://twitter.com/LFCTransferRoom/status/1192424705426374656) with huge excitement as Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has been linked with a move to Anfield in a record £215m deal, according to [El Desmarque](https://eldesmarque.com/madrid/real-madrid/noticias/175140-ultima-hora-mbappe-y-lo-cambia-todo-florentino-perez-tiene-un-problema-ed).**

The World Cup winner is one of the best players in the world after being nominated for the prestigious [Ballon d’Or](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45782303) award at the age of 19 and became the [youngest French player](https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/world-cup/news/world-cup-kylian-mbappe-becomes-frances-youngest-goal-scorer-in-a-major-tournament/) to score at a World Cup in Russia.

It has been [noted](https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-squad-depth-klopp-lovren-16748139) that the Reds lack substantial strength in depth in the striking positions and it is believed that Klopp would like to sign the 20-year-old.

Mbappe has a phenomenal goalscoring [record](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/300713/Show/Kylian-Mbapp%C3%A9) and it is easy to see why the German manager has an interest in the Frenchman’s services.

> Jürgen Klopp considers Kylian Mbappe to be one of the worlds best and wants to bring the French star to Anfield. The Reds have enough funds to buy the PSG man, having made no significant transfers last summer and with their multimillionaire earnings. \[[@ElDesmarque](https://twitter.com/eldesmarque?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)\] [pic.twitter.com/zdKvhEONOC](https://t.co/zdKvhEONOC)

He made his debut for Monaco at 17 and scored [27](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kylian-mbappe/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/342229) goals in 60 appearances for the club before his [€180m](https://www.goal.com/en/news/monaco-star-mbappe-completes-180-million-paris-saint-germain/13k7x4cozao191hcdgpw1kkrrt) (£155m) move to Paris Saint-Germain, initially on loan in 2017 before his deal was made permanent a year later. Mbappe has currently got [69](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kylian-mbappe/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/342229) goals under his belt and [36](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kylian-mbappe/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/342229) assists in 98 outings.

Supporters were beyond themselves with glee once more after previous [rumours](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-fans-excited-kylian-mbappe-20723647) emerged and voiced their views on social media.

Here you will find some of the best responses from Liverpool fans:
