The report goes as far as to say that Klopp is preparing an offer for the [£281,000-per-week](https://salarysport.com/football/la-liga/atl%C3%A9tico/) 34-year-old, who only joined his current side, Atletico Madrid, [last summer](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luis-suarez/transfers/spieler/44352), with the Uruguay international scoring [19 goals](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luis-suarez/leistungsdaten/spieler/44352) and providing [two assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/luis-suarez/leistungsdaten/spieler/44352) over his 31 appearances for Diego Simeone’s side so far this season.

And, after [Liverpool FC News](https://twitter.com/LivEchoLFC/status/1374759280839122951) relayed the report on Twitter, fans of the Reds flocked to have their say on the matter, with many appearing delighted at the prospect of Suarez making a return to Anfield this summer.
