# Liverpool: Fans reflect on Jurgen Klopp decision regarding Diogo Jota

**Many Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to remind Jurgen Klopp of a key event that took place before Thursday night’s shock [1-0](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55657090) defeat to Burnley.**

His side’s [68-game](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/55760761) unbeaten home league run came to an end after they were left frustrated by the resolute Clarets side at Anfield.

Liverpool haven’t scored a goal in their last [four](https://www.fotmob.com/teams/8650/fixtures/liverpool) Premier League games – this could have been different if Diogo Jota was available.

The [£41m](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54214671#:~:text=Top%20Scorers-,Liverpool%20sign%20Diogo%20Jota%20for%20%C2%A341m%20from%20Wolves%20as,Jana%20Hoever%20moves%20to%20Molineux&text=Liverpool%20have%20completed%20the%20signing,with%20the%20Premier%20League%20champions.) summer signing picked up an injury during his side’s [1-1](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55221508) draw against FC Midtjylland in the Champions League – having already qualified for the next round and having lost Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez to [serious injuries](https://talksport.com/football/787753/joe-gomez-knee-injury-liverpool-jurgen-klopp-virgil-van-dijk/).
