# Liverpool: Fans rejoice as Divock Origi bound for Anfield exit

**Many Liverpool fans have been reacting in delight after striker Divock [Origi](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/?tag=origi) was linked with a move away from Anfield.**

According to The Athletic’s [James Pearce](https://twitter.com/JamesPearceLFC/status/1339657260327432193), the 25-year-old has been attracting the interest of Wolves and the Reds are willing to listen to any offers that come in for him next month.

Origi has become a cult hero at Anfield after scoring big goals in crucial games, particularly against [Everton](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46333097) and his goal during Liverpool’s Champions League Final against Tottenham in [2019](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48368443).

Despite this, the Belgium international has come under [intense scrutiny](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league/liverpool-fc-twitter-champions-league-vs-midtjylland-score-divock-origi/) from segments of the Kop faithful after scoring just four goals from 28 appearances last season and he has not started a single game during the 2020/21 campaign in the Premier League ([Whoscored](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/124688/History/Divock-Origi)).

> Should’ve sold him instead of Brewster. Loaned Brewster out again. Cannot fathom how he’s getting splinters on the bench at Sheffield.
