# Liverpool: Fans seemingly unimpressed with Dani Ceballos links

**The summer has largely been quiet for Liverpool so far.**

Only teenage defender Sepp van den Berg [has been confirmed](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/354756-sepp-van-den-berg-deal-agreed) as a new Reds player this summer with the 17-year-old joining from PEC Zwolle, and one name who has recently been linked with a move to Anfield is Dani Ceballos.

The Real Madrid midfielder, who [recently won the U-21 EUROs with Spain](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48812993), has been [reported by Marca](https://marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2019/07/03/5d1c900de2704e396a8b456f.html) as a player Liverpool are interested in this window, with the 22-year-old said to be one name who is not a part of Zinedine Zidane’s plans at Los Blancos.

As news began to filter out, Liverpool fans took to social media to let their voices be heard about the rumour, with many not too impressed with what they were reading.
