# Liverpool: Fans call for Ben Woodburn to be sold amid reports of another possible loan move

**Liverpool are reportedly considering another loan move away from Anfield for [Ben Woodburn](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/premier-league/liverpool-fans-react-negatively-to-ben-woodburn-birthday-post/) – although many Reds fans believe that his next exit should be a permanent one.**

[Goal.com](https://www.goal.com/en/news/aston-villa-among-several-premier-league-clubs-interested-in/hbfqnz77td6710pma4f7shqnu) journalist Neil Jones reported that the Reds are seeking another loan move for the 20-year-old, with Ipswich and Portsmouth and some Eredivisie clubs reportedly interested in the Wales international. The news was later shared on Twitter by [@AnfieldEdition](https://twitter.com/AnfieldEdition/status/1295665297966465025).

Woodburn [became the club’s youngest-ever scorer](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/nov/29/liverpool-leeds-united-efl-cup-quarter-final-match-report) when he netted in an EFL Cup game against Leeds in November 2016 and has already won [10 caps for Wales](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ben-woodburn/nationalmannschaft/spieler/344015/verein_id/3864), scoring twice for his country.

However, he has made just [11 senior appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ben-woodburn/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/344015/verein/31) for Liverpool, the last of which came in 2017/18, and has since been loaned out to [Sheffield United and Oxford](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ben-woodburn/transfers/spieler/344015). While his career has stalled, Curtis Jones has [emerged from the academy](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/curtis-jones/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/433188) to break into the senior side and [claim a Premier League winner’s medal](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/curtis-jones/erfolge/spieler/433188), while fellow midfielder Marko Grujic has [played regularly in the Bundesliga on loan at Hertha Berlin](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marko-grujic/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/222813) over the past two seasons.
