# Liverpool: Fans want Reds to sign Eduardo Camavinga

**A number of Liverpool supporters are keen for the Reds to sign Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga following an intriguing update on his future.**

The end of the summer transfer window isn’t too far away now, should Jurgen Klopp be keen to conduct more business in the coming days.

Ibrahima Konate remains Liverpool’s [only signing to date](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-liverpool/transfers/verein/31) this summer, while Gini Wijnaldum has traded Anfield for Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Xherdan Shaqiri is [set to join Lyon](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/aug/22/xherdan-shaqiri-lyon-liverpool-agree-fee) and Ben Woodburn is [heading to Hearts](https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/hearts/ben-woodburn-set-for-hearts-medical-with-debut-in-the-offing-after-liverpool-agree-to-loan-move-3355840) on loan, so greater squad depth could be required moving forward.

Camavinga is a player with whom Liverpool have been [linked](https://www.anfieldcentral.co.uk/posts/liverpool-make-contact-with-eduardo-camavinga/) this summer, and according to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1429584137090961408?s=20), the 18-year-old could leave Rennes if they receive an offer of €35m (£30m).
