# Liverpool: Fans want Reds to sign Mikkel Damsgaard

**A number of Liverpool supporters are keen for the Reds to complete a move for Denmark and Sampdoria star Mikkel Damsgaard this summer.**

Jurgen Klopp has had a quiet summer in the transfer market to date, with former RB Leipzig centre-back Ibrahima Konate the only arrival.

There is still time for Liverpool to make late additions, however, and they may be needed, following the exits of the likes of Gini Wijnaldum and Xherdan Shaqiri.

One player the Reds have been linked with is Damsgaard, who enjoyed a superb Euro 2020 campaign with Denmark, scoring a free-kick in the semi-final defeat to England.
