The German forward has been at the Allianz Arena for the [entirety](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/thomas-muller/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/58358) of his professional career, and has been a key player for them down the years.

Indeed, the 30-year-old has played a total of 495 games for the Bundesliga giants, scoring 186 goals in that time whilst also providing an impressive 171 assists (via [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/thomas-muller/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/58358)).

Muller has helped Bayern win the lot. Whilst he has been at the club, he has played a part in them claiming eight Bundesliga titles, five DFB-Pokal titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2012/13 (via [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/thomas-muller/erfolge/spieler/58358)).

However, he has seen his playing time reduced this season, making just [three starts](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/thomas-muller/leistungsdaten/spieler/58358) in the Bundesliga and Champions League combined with new arrival Philippe Coutinho being [preferred](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/philippe-coutinho/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/80444/plus/0?saison=2019&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=) in the role just off main striker Robert Lewandowski.

As a result, Muller reportedly wants to leave in the winter transfer window, with several Premier League clubs potentially interested in him (via [Daily Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/thomas-muller-ask-bayern-munich-20547173)).

One of those clubs could be Liverpool, who are [thought to have been keen](https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/media-watch/368336-liverpool-fc-transfers-thomas-muller) on the World Cup winner since Jurgen Klopp arrived at Anfield.

Whether there is any firm interest presently from the Reds in Muller is unknown, but it looks as though he would be a popular signing amongst the fans if it did happen.

Many Reds supporters have taken to Twitter to suggest that the German would be a good signing for them. Here is what some of them have been saying…

> If he was available at the right price he’d be a good 4th option up front ahead of Origi

> I’d still love him, brilliant experienced cover for the entire front 3 and one of the few who could actually do the job firmino does

> I think he would be ideal back up to Bobby.

> He isn’t a proper forward or winger, but he has good game intelligence, work rate and technically very good. Would be a good “false 9”
