# Liverpool fans want to see Gini named as October player of the month

**Liverpool have once again enjoyed an outstanding month. The Reds are still unbeaten in the Premier League and are currently top of their Champions League group, making it a very difficult decision for the fans when it comes to picking a player of the month, although it looks like Georginio**

Jurgen Klopp’s men are absolutely flying at the moment and it would be a massive shock if they didn’t end the season with some kind of silverware to their name. Especially if Georginio Wijnaldum keeps his mesmerising form up. The fans have been voting for their player of the month for October on the Liverpool website and if the fans are voting like they’re commenting then it looks like Wijnaldum could walk it.

The Dutch midfielder has excelled at Anfield, especially seeing as he used to be deployed as a number ten for Newcastle and is now thriving in a much deeper role for The Reds. He is one of those whose hard work allows those in front of him to play and without him in the side, there’s a serious argument to say that Klopp’s side wouldn’t be anywhere near where they are at the moment.

You can see the Kopites’ calls for Wijnaldum to be POTM here:

The Liverpool fans on Twitter are adamant that Wijnaldum should be their player of the month and will hope that the Dutchman is rewarded for his form.
