A number of Liverpool supporters were fuming after it was claimed that the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg clash away to Arsenal could be postponed again.

The Reds got back to winning ways last weekend, seeing off Brentford 3-0 at Anfield after a dominant  performance. That followed the drab 0-0 draw at home to the Gunners in the first leg of their Carabao Cup tie, in which Jurgen Klopp's failed to break down 10 men for much of the game.

The return fixture is set to take place on Thursday night, having initially been meant to take place on 6 January only to be postponed on Liverpool's request due to a virus outbreak in the Reds' ranks. However, according to i News [via journalist Evan Bartlett on Twitter], the match could again be called off because of Arsenal's shortage of available players.

It is an update which is sure to cause plenty of frustration if the match is postponed a second time, with Liverpool's plans once again potentially taking a hit.
