Liverpool have been the best team in the Premier League so far this campaign, and that has been reflected in the BBC’s Team of the Year so far.
The Reds had no less than seven players make it into the side, with Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson, Jordan Henderson, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane all being included in the final XI. Given they are 25 points clear at the top of the Premier League, that is hardly a surprise.
The Anfield outfit’s supporters could hardly argue with three of the four others to be included, with Caglar Soyuncu, Kevin de Bruyne and Sergio Aguero all making the team, but Bruno Fernandes’ inclusion did not go down well with the Reds fans – mainly based on the fact he has play just five league matches so far this term since joining Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon for £47m in January.
Do you agree with Bruno Fernandes' inclusion?
The supporters were quick to share their thoughts on the Portugal international’s inclusion. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
There’s nothing to discuss, he played 5 games

Tbh he’s already their most influential player possibly behind Rashford next season he’s got a great chance if he keeps his form up but this season for him to be included is a joke

Any1 can have good few games, it’s an insult to players that have played all season as is players of the season
