A number of Liverpool fans have bemoaned Divock Origi's injury absence ahead of the Reds' Carabao Cup quarter-final clash with Leicester City.

The Belgian has become a hugely popular figure at Anfield down the years, etching his name into Liverpool folklore time and time again.

Origi has been famed for scoring some truly iconic goals during Jurgen Klopp's tenure, including a double at home to Barcelona in the 2018/19 Champions League semi-finals and a goal in the final over Tottenham.

Most recently, the 26-year-old netted a last-gasp winner away to Wolves earlier this month, sealing a precious 1-0 victory in the Premier League title race.

Unfortunately, Origi will be unavailable for Wednesday's visit of Leicester, with the club's official Twitter channel confirming that the striker is still absent after missing the Spurs game through injury.
