Liverpool: Fans are curious over Xherdan Shaqiri’s current situation

Plenty of Liverpool fans have been wondering about the status of elusive winger Xherdan Shaqiri.
David Lynch has half answered their questions after reporting that Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip have returned to training. They were joined by Divock Origi and the Swiss forward, who curiously wasn’t pictured in any of the snaps from the Melwood session.
Should Liverpool keep or sell Xherdan Shaqiri?
Keep

Sell

Shaqiri only managed to make seven Premier League appearances last season, playing a total of just 181 minutes. He was left out of the squad on several occasions, with two separate injuries sidelining him for 48 days overall (via Transfermarkt).
The £14.4million-valued forward last pulled on a red shirt back in July, making a seven minute cameo against Arsenal after being left on the shelf for 14 consecutive league matches. His lack of game time has got the fanbase asking if he could be leaving some time soon.
Some Liverpool fans have responded to Lynch’s update and are wondering the future holds for Shaqiri. One supporter has tweeted ‘something’s going on with Shaq’ as they clearly feel the 28-year-old could be leaving the club due to his long period of absence.
