Some Liverpool fans took exception to the performance of left-back Andy Robertson during his side's crunch Premier League encounter against Chelsea on Thursday night.
The 26-year-old made his 27th domestic start of the season in his usual position as the Reds eagerly chase those crucial top four places. It has been a difficult season for Jurgen Klopp's side with them sitting well behind Manchester City and a possible title challenge looking off the cards, which has not been helped by the vast amount of injuries they have suffered.
Robertson had a shot on goal inside the first 10 minutes but his effort trickled pitifully wide of Edouard Mendy's goal as the Merseysiders failed to find the game's opener.
The Scotland skipper has only ever scored five times for the reigning Premier League champions since his move from Hull City in 2017 - but continues to play as more of a wingback in a bid to accumulate more goal contributions.
With this in mind, supporters were disappointed with the way that Robertson played, which led to some making some bizarre statements, as you can see below.
