Many Liverpool fans let rip at midfielder Naby Keita during his side’s lunchtime Premier League clash away to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The 25-year-old started as part of a trio alongside Georginio Wijnaldum and captain Jordan Henderson in the middle of the park.
Takumi Minamino, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino got the Reds firing in the first period but Keita struggled to stamp his authority on the game.
Since he arrived from RB Leipzig for £48m in 2018, the Guinea international has only scored seven times and provided four assists in 70 appearances before today’s game (TransferMarkt), and has missed a total of 28 games due to various muscle injuries.
Should Liverpool move on from Keita?
As a result, supporters were heavily critical of Keita, with some even suggesting that he should be sold during next month’s transfer window.

That’s absolutely horrendous from Naby there. We’re on the break, he has three or four options open and he plays the ball straight into dead space and misses everyone.
